CS3 Carroll Long Term Care Hospital Bed (product ID # IHCS3)

Carroll CS Series Adjustable Bed is a long term care bed that can support up to 450 pounds. This Carroll Bed is designed to provide stability throughout the travel range. The bed can lower the sleep deck down to 8.5 inches from the floor. This low bed is mobile while in its low position an may be moved from room to room. The assembly is tool-less with fast connections that provide for easy setup, disassembly and for making alterations. The wheels can lock with the Maxi-Lock feature to secure the bed in all elevated positions. An arched slat deck on this hospital bed provides for improved infection control and reduces mattress wear and tear.

Invacare also manufactures the CS7 LTC Bed with a 500 pound capacity, the Carroll CS9 Adjustable Width Frame with a 600 pound capacity as well as the BAR750 with a 750 pound capacity.

4 Inch Bed Extender

Bed Extender for CS Beds extends the sleep deck by 4 inches and is installed on the foot section of the bed.

Standard Wall Bumper

The Standard Wall Bumper attaches to the head end of the bed to the base. It extends out past the frame to keep the bed from touching and damaging the wall.

Long Wall Bumper

The Long Wall Bumper adds an additional 2 inches to the Standard Wall Bumper to provide a larger margin of room between the bed frame and the wall.

Fixed Knee Lift

Fixed Knee Lift option does not let the leg section of the frame rise.

Ratchet Knee Lift

Raises the foot section of the frame in one-inch increments. This option is standard with the CS7.

High/low Lockout

The High/Low Lockout button is located at the foot of the bed that allows the caregiver to lock-out the high/low function of the pendant to prevent the patient from injuring themselves.
